Jet Systems
Around 1990 Jet agitated hydroseeding units began to appear. Jet units offer fast, even mixing with no moving parts inside the tank. Nozzles inside the tank (jets) produce a very high volume of water and materials inside the tank to create an intense rolling action inside the tank to stir the materials and blend the mix. These units work well and are good quality units. An advantage of jet agitated systems is that have low maintenance cost and few moving parts excluding the engine.

Turbo Turf, Jet Agitated Systems
Turbo Turf Jet Agitated Hydro Seeding Systems are available in sizes from 50 to 2000 gallons, and are a breakthrough in hydro seeding system technology. They offer convenience, reliability and design features that competitive units don’t have. Some of our advantages over competitive units are:
  • A poly tank with a 20 year pro-rated warranty means a lighter transport weight, which allows for the use of smaller towing vehicle. Never worry about the tank ever rusting.
  • Fast mixing action provided by powerful 2" jets which jets virtually never clog provide the power to mix a full load of materials in minutes. If a clog does occur, the jets are quickly accessible through quick coupler connectors.
  • Powerful centrifugal pumps with an adjustable bypass into the tank, gives the operator full control of the pressure at the gun which means they can reduce the flow to trim, or totally shut off the gun valve without making adjustments at the unit.
  • Low maintenance cost and only 4 moving parts excluding the engine (an impeller that screws right on to the engine shaft, and 3 ball valves).
  • Trailered Systems are available for 300 gallon units and larger. Just hook behind any vehicle with proper towing capacity NO Need to dedicate a truck.
HS-300-EH

Pictured is the HS-300-EH, our most popular entry level Jet Agitated Hydroseeding System. The unit comes ready to operate with a 13 H.P. Honda electric start engine, custom molded tank with a molded in -bale tray, front fork slots for easy loading and unloading, 100' of 1 1/4" I.D. hose mounted on hose holders on the side of the tank and with three nozzles, (standard hydroseeding, trim and distance).

This combination provides great performance, unmatched reliability and easy operation at a very affordable price.
Mechanical Systems
Until the 1990's, most all hydro seeding units were what are called mechanically agitated hydro seeding systems. Mechanical units have one or more rotating shafts with paddles inside the tank to stir the materials and blend the mix. These units work well and are good quality units. A disadvantage of a mechanically agitated system is that to rotate the paddles, it requires a complicated drive system with hydraulic motors, chains sprockets and other parts.

Turbo Turf, the Finest Hydroseeding Systems Made
Turbo Turf Mechanically Agitated Hydro Seeding Systems come in 500, 750 and 1000 gallon sizes, and are a breakthrough in hydro seeding system technology. They offer convenience, reliability and design features that competitive units don’t have. Some of our advantages over competitive units are:
  • A poly tank that can never rust and is so reliable, the tank has a 20 year pro-rated warranty. It's the only mechanical unit on the market today where you never have to worry about the tank rusting. Never spend your winter’s sand blasting your tank and coating the inside with smelly coal tar epoxy.
  • Paddle assembly is mounted on heavy exterior metal supports to carry the weight and any stress from operation of the paddles the tank simply acts as a carrier for the liquids.
  • Hybrid units combine the best of Jet and Mechanical units into one system. The design is simple and has few moving parts. This is the easiest to run paddle machine on the market and has the lowest maintenance.
  • HARV and HARV-E models use a hydraulically driven Bowie Gear pump and hydraulically driven paddle assembly. Both the pump and paddles can be reversed. Should you get a clog in the suction line you can simply reverse the pump and blow out the clog. Paddles can be reversed and you can control the speed. This allows the use and handling of difficult to use erosion control products.
  • T series has a belt driven Bowie gear pump. The T series offers a low cost machine capable of spraying difficult to use erosion control products and to spray through up to 500 feet of hose.
  • Trailered Systems are available for all units Mechanically Agitated Systems. Just hook behind any vehicle with proper towing capacity, NO Need to dedicate a truck.
 Turbo Turf HM-500-T

Pictured is the new Turbo Turf HM-500-T an ideal machine for those who need to spray difficult materials and heavy slurries. The HM-500-T will play with even the most difficult materials and make the hardest job a snap. The aggressive paddle agitation allows you to load full bales without the need to break them up. The positive displacement Bowie gear pump allows you to spray thick slurries of any hydro seeding or erosion control mulch through up to 500 feet of hose.

The HM-500-T will seed 6600 square feet per load. It is equipped with an 13 H. P. Honda electric start engine that also drives the 2" Bowie Positive Displacement Gear Pump, 100' of 1 1/2" I.D. hose with free flow couplings mounted on hose holders on the side of the tank, five hydroseeding nozzles ( 2 wide, 1 hillside, 1 straight distance, and 1 trim ), platform and tower gun.

This combination provides great performance, unmatched reliability and easy operation at a very affordable price.

Electric or manual rewind hose reels are available as an option.
